I have been a lace collector for more than fifty years, since I was a child, and I should like to divide my passion and history of lace with you. Living in Calais, the city of the machine made lace, I wish to show you how our lacemakers have been creating so many and various patterns on their fabulous Leavers looms for two hundred years in Calais and Caudry.
